Ok. I'm through with Lesson 1.

This lesson introduced me to the Chain Method, the Russian Doll Method, the Cicero Method, the Free Association Method, and the alpha numeric codes.

Funny, these were introduced also in the GMS manual. But the true value of the lesson is the specific instruction of how to use the techniques.

I was given a list of items to memorize using that technique. So, the take away is just fuckin do it. Also, there is a timer in that you must complete the lesson in at most 2 hours. I finished mine within 50 minutes.

To go or not

While I'm excited to finally enroll in the School of Phenomenal Memory, there are still doubts in my mind. After all, spending hundreds of dollars is a big deal for me. So I'll due the necessary due diligence. Right now, I'm starting to to read the Free GMS Manual. I hope that it will really convince me that my decision will be ok.

I'll also investigate what other people say. Even so, I really want to have a phenomenal memory.

Can I really have a Phenomenal Memory?

Is it possible for someone like me, an ordinary guy who considers himself having not so good memory, to obtain a Phenomenal Memory? This question has been lingering in my mind for some time when I first read the ad for the School of Phenomenal Memory.

It has pretty big claims. They say that not only can you improve your memory, you could also improve it so much that you could memorize entire books! My BS meter is high, but really I think I should try this. I asked other people who tried this and they say this really works. That I should ignore the naysayers. Anyway, I will enroll in this school. I'm just preparing the cash for payment. Afterwards, I'll post my experiences with this blog.

Truly, if the School of Phenomenal Memory does bring its promise of improving our memory, then it can change the world.
